1972 Volkswagen Campervan
My 1972 Volkwagen Camper Van is finished in stunning ivory over black and will look fabulous with the stylish Art-Deco interior that Rupert of Grange Classic Cars is currently building.
The cabinetry will have beautiful pale birch book-matched veneer with ebony cross-banding. There is a fully fitted out kitchen with a cocktail cabinet and a dining table with an inlaid chessboard. The beautiful interior will have concealed integrated strip lighting so that you can see what you are doing when you are cooking supper and fabulous Tiffany lamps to give you some mood lighting when you just want to kick back and sip your cocktail.
If you want a bit more space then you can hire a drive-away awning. Ideal if you still want to tour but prefer not to pack up your 'home' just to go for a drive. We can also supply bedding, sat-nav and even picnics.
A VW Campervan is ideal for touring in the Yorkshire Dales or the North Yorkshire Moors; with windows all round everyone can enjoy the scenery. You can even head out to the East coast and catch a few waves. Best of all she has the later 2.0 litre engine so you don't have to crawl up hills at 35 mph!!
The campervan will sleep two adults and two children in a rock-and-roll bed and two hammocks, so is ideal for a family holiday; in fact, my own kids can't wait, and keep pestering to know when she is coming home!
Getting Married?
If you are getting married then the Campervan interior will give your photographer some fabulous photo opportunities - the inside of the van is probably as good as, or possibly better than, the hotel you are driving to! In fact, why not spend your honeymoon touring in the campervan? After all, if you have hired the vehicle, the accomodation included!
