Figaro Joins Our Fleet!
Arriving next month is a beautiful Nissan Figaro in emerald green; although I would call it mint green. These cars are modern classics and the automatic transmission makes them very easy to drive.
The Figaro was introduced at the 1989 and has become a modern classic. There is seating for four people, although rear seat passengers need to be of very modest proportions!
It is probably suited best to couples or couples with one or two children. The Figaro could have been designed for parents who like the idea of a motoring holiday in a classic car but worry about the absence of seat belts for their children– the Figaro has seat belts in the front and the rear seats
It comes with leather upholstery, air conditioning, CD player and an open roof as standard.
The designer was Shoji Takahashi, who won a design competition with the car.
Sarah Jane Smith drove an Emerald Green Nissan Figaro in the BBC spin-off television series of Doctor Who, called The Sarah Jane Adventures. Other notable people to own Figaros are Arsenal and Belgian Footballer Thomas Vermaelen, guitarist Eric Clapton, TV presenter Vanessa Feltz, and Princess Eugenie of York.
