 The event, which took place at Harrogate’s Yorkshire Event Centre, was attended by brides from all over the region all looking for great ideas and exquisite products to ensure their wedding is everything they’ve dreamed it to be. 

 

Over 60 companies were exhibiting at the event, including little old me with my classic cars..

 

I had three of my gorgeous cars inside the Show Hall. I was really pleased with the level of interest from everyone, including other exhibitors. You don't have to be a bride or groom to hire a self drive classic car - any old excuse will do!

 

 

I had a great time and my cars were much admired. The hardest job was picking three cars to take from my collection of ten. In the end I decided to take my 1969 Daimler V8 in Old English White (suitable for weddings, I thought), my beautiful Pimento Red Triumph TR6 and my mint green VW Campervan.

 

All the cars were popular but nothing prepared me for the enthusiasm shown for the camper. Nearly half the people coming to my stand went straight to the camper! For some it was a trip down memory lane and for others it was the current 'cool' staus of the campers. Either way; come and hire one.
