Our MGC GT has been in the family for 36 years now and has had her third rebuild, this time as a Sebring (the first picture shows how she will look when the restoration is finished. The other pictures are of her last iteration when we did the Monte Carlo Rally in her in 1995)
She is a stunning car that recaptures the early days of ‘stock’ racing; possibly the sort of racing that the BTCC evolved from.
She has a stage two head, custom inlet manifold with six carburettors, tubular headers and very modest silencing.
She is finished in British Racing Green with an original black leather interior. She runs 15″ x 7″ Minilite wheels on fat sticky rubber. The suspension has been sorted with uprated torsion bars on the front and a telescopic shock absorber conversion on the back.
