1970 Buick Skylark

About the car

A piece of American history and one of the last muscle cars before the 1970’s oil crisis sounded the death knell for large capacity gas-guzzlers!

The Buick runs a 350 cubic inch engine (5.7 litres) with a four barrel Holley carburettor giving around 285 bhp, which is ample power in a 47 year old car!

She is a pleasure to drive and is surprisingly easy once you get used to the size of her. She has power steering, power brakes and, most importantly, a power hood. These cars are huge and a manual roof is no joke!

The Buick is a very comfortable open top car for touring and is also ideally suited to weddings and proms.
